Sometimes car accidents result in minimal or no injuries. If you're unlucky enough to be in an accident, but lucky enough to not be injured - then count yourself lucky! Too often, children and adults alike who are involved in some type of car, trucking or motorcycle accident are sitting next to a window or the frame of a vehicle and when a collision occurs, flying glass and bent, sharp metal can cause terrible injuries to the eyes, face, arms, head and legs. The injuries themselves will heal with proper medical treatment and time, yet sometimes the unsightly scars remain. When this happens, you need to make sure you carefully document the scar aging. The best way to do this is with a digital camera, taking a variety of pictures with and without the flash. Depending on your complexion, the flash can either wash out the scar and make it seem barely noticeable, or it can create a contrast that makes it stick out like a sore thumb. There are also scar revision techniques available from plastic surgeons to lessen the visibility of some types of scars. This time of year, collection agencies are notorious for using questionable, even illegal tactics to try and pry money from you. Granted, they have a right to collect money you legally owe; however, they are limited in their collection tactics. To name but a few of the illegal tactics they use: They will often harass you at work, harass your employer causing strained employer/employee relationships, and may even get you fired.
Additionally, if you have a professional blog or comment sections on a website, they will post flagrantly false comments to try and dissuade people from doing business with you.

"Idaho State police are still investigating a car vs. semi crash on
Ustick Road that led to the death of a 30-year-old Caldwell man Thursday
night. ISP officials say Justin Davis was killed after a car he
was a passenger in collided with a semi near the Ustick/Farmway roads
intersection around 8 p.m. Thursday. The driver of the car,
26-year-old Habtom Tesfazgi-Russom of Boise, was taken to Saint
Alphonsus Regional Medical Center for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
The driver of the semi was not hurt, according to ISP reports. Investigators
say Tesfazgi-Russom was driving a Toyota Camry eastbound on Ustick when
he failed to stop at the stop sign at Farmway Road and drove into the
path of a semitrailer, which was going northbound on Farmway Road,
according to ISP reports. The truck smashed into the passenger side of the Camry, where Davis was sitting, according to reports. Davis,
who was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, was the only one of
the three who was not wearing a seat belt, according to ISP reports. The
intersection of Farmway and Ustick roads is southwest of Caldwell.
There is a stop sign on Ustick but traffic on Farmway does not have to
stop. The speed limit on Farmway where the crash occurred is 55 mph,
according to ISP reports. No citations had been issued in connection with the crash as of Friday morning."

"Two people from Star were killed Monday morning when the SUV they were
traveling in was struck from behind by a semitrailer near Snoqualmie Pass,
according to Washington State Patrol reports. Jess Albert Bass, 68, and Jean Elaine Bass, 73, both died in the five
vehicle pileup, which included three semitrailer trucks. Washington State
police reports do not indicate what the relationship was between Jess and
Jean Bass. The crash occurred shortly before 11 a.m. in an eastbound lane of Interstate
90. Traffic was stopped in the area for road construction and Bass was slowing
down as he approached those stopped vehicles when the Cherokee was hit from
behind by a semitrailer, according to WSP reports. That impact forced Bass’ SUV into a semitrailer in front of it, causing a
chain reaction that involved three trucks and two cars. Jess Bass and Jean Bass were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash,
according to WSP reports. Four other people in the other vehicles were
injured in the crash and had to be taken to nearby hospitals by ambulance,
according to reports. The crash is still under investigation and no citations had been issued as
of Tuesday morning but WSP reports say the cause of the crash was
inattention on the part of the semitrailer driver which crashed into Bass’s
SUV. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Steward&Williams Tribute Center in Ellensburg, Wash. Jess
Bass described himself as "A 68 year old Great Grandfather with almost
a 30 year background as a Real Estate Broker. I am now retired and
living with my beautiful wife of 41 years," on his Twitter page."

Our deepest condolences go out to the family of John Orr, who was killed when another driver allegedly did not stop at his stop sign and t-boned the sedan driven by Mr. Orr. Words cannot express the loss undoubtedly felt by this family, particularly the young boy who was in the vehicle with his father. Our hearts go out to him in this most difficult time. "John K. Orr was killed after his car was hit by a pickup truck that went
through a stop sign on Swan Falls Road Thursday night, according to Idaho
State Police reports. Orr's 12-year-old son, who was a passenger in the car, was taken by
ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise following the
crash as a precaution, Ada County Sheriff's officials said Thursday. ISP officials say the 45-year-old Orr was driving a 1994 Chrysler New Yorker
car southbound on Swan Falls Road just after 7:30 p.m. when his car was hit
by a pickup truck. ISP officials say 33-year-old Brian A. Mulherin of Kuna was driving a 2002
Dodge Dakota pickup westbound on E. Kings Road when he drove through a stop
sign and right into the side of Orr's car. The force of the impact caused the car and the truck to leave the road and
come to a rest in a field in the southwest corner of the intersection,
according to ISP reports. Orr was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Orr, his son, and Mulherin were all wearing their seatbelts at the time of
the crash and ISP officials say it does not appear as if alcohol or drug use
was a factor in the crash. The crash is still under investigation and no citations had been issued as
of early Friday morning."

Nampa police Sgt. Oren McGuire said. The girl is currently being
treated at St. Luke's Boise Medical Center for what police have called

Regional Medical Center for what police say are serious injuries. The road had recently been chip sealed and crosswalk lines were obscured, McGuire said. The crash was reported just after 8:20 p.m. The driver of the car is a 59-year-old woman from Nampa, police say. An investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing, and no citations had been issued as of 8 a.m. Wednesday."
Serious Car Crash On Highway 17 Between Banks / Crouch Link - Wed, 20 Jul 2011 23:30:44 GMT - Email The Author Description:

"Five Treasure Valley residents were injured in a head-on collision Tuesday night on County Highway 17 between Banks and Crouch. According
to a release from Idaho State Police, Anthony Reilly, 25, of Nampa
crossed the center line in a Kia Spectra. The Spectra collided head on
with a 1994 Chevrolet Suburban driven by Susan Decker, 59, of Boise. Reilly
and his 12-year-old passenger were extricated from the vehicle by
emergency crews. Reilly was transported to Saint Alphonsus Regional
Medical Center in Boise via air ambulance. Decker, her two
passengers, ages 13- and 67-years-old, and Reilly's passenger were taken
to the same hospital via ground ambulance. According to the
release, alcohol is not a factor in the crash. Officials don't know who
was wearing seatbelts. The crash is under investigation."

A car crash recently sent several people to the hospital. According to reports, the offending driver was "talking to his wife" when the accident occurred. Nobody except the driver really knows what happened, but it is very important to be absolutely attentive and follow at a safe following distance when we are operating motor vehicles. From The Idaho Statesman:
"Three people were taken to the hospital after a chain-reaction crash
involving four vehicles on Idaho 21 Friday night in Boise, about a half
mile north of Technology Way. The crash was reported at about 6:05 p.m. Ada County Sheriff's Deputy Adam Babbitt said a Ford F-150 was stopped to
turn into East Alta Ridge Drive shortly before the crash occurred. There
were two vehicles stopped behind the Ford truck ‹ a Toyota truck and a
Toyota Camry. A GMC Acadia traveling north on Idaho 21 came up behind the stopped
vehicles, but did not stop. The Acadia hit the Toyota truck, which then hit
the Camry, and that hit the Ford truck. The driver of the Acadia was taken to the hospital, as were two passengers
in the Toyota truck. The extent of the injuries was not immediately known. The driver of the Acadia was cited for following too closely. "He said he was talking with his wife, and the next thing he knew the
vehicle in front of him was stopped," Babbitt said."
